Volunteer with Outright
Outright Community Mentor/Co-Facilitator
Community Mentors are volunteers, age 25 and older, who support Outright's community programming and the young leaders who make up the membership of our organization. This is a multifaceted role that includes co-facilitating and planning meetings and events, supporting ongoing creative and visual arts projects, and working in partnership with young organizers who are actively organizing for their dignity and rights. We are currently accepting applications for our spring 2018 cohort of Community Mentor/Facilitators, you can complete that application here. For more information, please review our Community Mentor/Facilitator Welcome Letter and email email@example.com with questions.
Food Donations Volunteer
One of the ways we nurture our movement is by providing food at all Outright meetings and events. We understand having access to sustenance in organizing spaces as an important way to support our members and sustain our work. We're looking for a volunteer to take on the ongoing project of coordinating food donations for our regular meetings and events. This role would include tracking donations and outreach to local businesses with the support of Outright staff. Contact Osgood at firstname.lastname@example.org or 207-558-2429.
